DiamondAudit is a tool for baseball and softball programs to run and score player tryouts. This policy describes, in plain terms, what we handle and why.

What we collect

Coach accounts. Name and email for the coaches and admins who sign in.

Player & evaluation data. Roster details and scores that coaches enter for the athletes they evaluate. Programs are responsible for the player information they add, which may include minors.

How we use it

To provide the service — letting your staff evaluate players, view results, and manage your organization. We do not sell your data.

Data ownership & deletion

Your organization's data belongs to your program. Contact us to export or delete your organization's data.

We do not keep players' data after a season ends

Player names, dates of birth, evaluation scores, and coach notes exist on DiamondAudit only for the season they were collected. When that season closes, all of it is deleted — including the data of any minors your program evaluated.

The only information retained is anonymized age-group benchmarks: averages for measurements like exit velocity, throwing velocity, and run times, grouped by age. These contain no names, no dates of birth, and nothing that identifies an individual player. We keep them to understand what typical performance looks like at each age.

Before a season is closed, a program can export its own records for its files. Those exported copies belong to and are controlled by the program, not DiamondAudit, and it is the program's responsibility to store or delete them appropriately.
